As a teacher

Is through the company Giolisu (which he co-founded) that the experience of creation, based on continuous research and experimentation, allowed, project after project to refine its own stylistic vision, exploring and defining more and more, its own artistic language in use of the body and its expressive-poetic.
From the first works where the focus rested on a strong and robust quality of the movement to build a large and dynamic choreography and a use well-experienced of the “dance floor”, to the most recent shows where the movement seeks its own theatricality, first and then still deeper, to a movement that become a “behavioral attitude”, motivated by a hallucinatory state.
Teaching is nourished by this doing and searching.
The dance is mixed with the gesture, with concrete action in a refined atmosphere, that becomes a physical space, almost a “narrative” proposal in support of the body moved, shaken by his inner “demons”.
A lot of work with improvisation, which allows the performer to give rise to new forms and forces, exploring behind the habits and structures.
The basic principles remain very much present for a discipline that prepares the body to the scene with a practice and a daily training. An athletic body that develops strength, autonomy in managing its energy and elasticity. A gesture that can be vigorous and an impetuous dance, capable of taking large dynamic in the space. Energy and sensation in movement; body lives fully the feeling, the various moods trough research on the specific qualities of each dancer, to exalt individual potential, gesture, personal way to get into different techniques of dance, to find the “sincerity” of being on stage. Through meeting the Other to open the perception of reality (in the combination of space-time). Create rhythm in relation to the other, in relation to the external environment.

Dancing, moving is what keeps us alive
